You're no longer content to spend your time with people who don't excite you - fair enough. But as you draw new people into your circle this holiday season, remember that (1) old friends are like diamonds and you don't bin the old for new and (2) it's really lovely to have old friends you can rely on. So, mix it up. Being happy socially will ease a lot of the work pressures on you.
