There is nothing quite like getting someone else to do the hard work for you. The best salon tans are administered with a spray gun to mist the tanning solution over your body. Not only are they fast, they also provide an even result. “The mist just falls onto the skin, so you’re never going to get a hard line,” says Marion Levitt, distributor of Fake Bake in Australia. And, as you don’t rub it in, you can layer the mist for a deeper, longer-lasting result. “Just remember to allow time for the tanning process. If you do it on the fly it will streak,” she adds. Always wear dark, loose clothing to your appointment and don’t shower or have a bath for eight hours afterwards as this will allow the tan to be better absorbed into your skin.
