Elton advises Madonna “lip-sync good”

In an interview on Good Morning America, Elton John has made it clear that his feud with Madonna is definitely still on. His controversial comments come only two weeks after Elton told reporters that Madonna had no “f***ing chance of winning” the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Funnily Madge did win said award that night.

The tension between 64-year-old Elton and 53-year-old Madonna was first evident at the GQ Awards crowd in 2004. After Madonna was crowned ‘Best Live Act’ at the ceremony, Elton criticised the decision and accused her of lip-syncing.

When asked on Good Morning America if he had any advice for the songstress, he jibed “make sure you lip-sync good.”

Fran Drescher seriously thinks she was abducted by an alien

Fran, famous for her role as Fran Fine from sitcom The Nanny has told reporters she was abducted by aliens, who placed a microchip in her body.

Not only that, she also says her ex-husband had the same experience and that connection was possibly what made them meet. Drescher told the media, “ Peter (Fran's ex-husband) and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads.

"We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It's the exact same scar on the exact same spot."

However, Fran’s ex Peter Marc Jacobson has a different take on the story, stating that her scar was the result of a burn from holding a cup of boiling water or perhaps a drill bit, not a mark from where aliens inserted a chip.

But Drescher says he’s got it all mixed up, "I said to him, that's what the aliens programmed us to think," she reasoned, "but really, that's where the chip is."

This will be the first child for the actress and her boyfriend, 26-year-old The Boat That Rocked actor Tom Sturridge.

Savannah Miller dispelled rumours that the pair were also engaged, telling reporters, “Sienna is definitely not engaged or getting married… she is pregnant.”

Lobbyist for home birth dies delivering at home

Victorian mother Caroline Lovell died in hospital last week after giving birth at home. It’s reported that she was being assisted by very experienced midwives, however, due to complications unknown at this point, she was rushed to hospital last Monday and passed away the following day.

Lovell was passionate about home births, having made a submission to a Government inquiry in 2009, with the goal of securing more funding and insurance for mid wives.

A speaker from the Midwives in Private Practice has said this is the first incident of a fatality following home birth that she’d heard of in 15 years.
