I work from home and struggle with storage. Do you have any good storage ideas? |
|
Storage solutions are just three steps away:
Overhaul: If you cannot remember the last time you wore it, used it or played it, throw it out. The key is to down size so get rid of whatever you are not using - clothes, shoes, CDs etc.
Organise: Decide on the room where you would like to store certain things. For example, allocate all your shoes to the bedroom, appliances to the kitchen, CDs to the lounge room and so on. Don’t forget the hidden areas you wouldn’t normally think of like, under the stairs.
Select: Decide on storage pieces that will suit your home. When selecting storage pieces, keep in mind your style and the décor of the room as you want storage solutions to match or, even better, blend in (try kikki k, Smiggle, and Officeworks for ideas).
Our favourite storage tips:
- Domayne have a bed where you can store stuff underneath and lift up when you need
- Store CDs and DVDs in a large white box with a neat label on the lid,
- Keep shoes in clear boxes (check out pinklily.com.au) or leave them in the shoe box with a photo of the shoe on the lid.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Think of it as your kick-start – what you eat will give you the energy to best shape your day. Great breakfast ideas include soy and linseed toast topped with ricotta, avocado and tomato; poached eggs with a side of spinach on grainy bread; and oat porridge mixed with berries, nuts and seeds.
