Deck the halls with deliciousness using the new collaborative cookbook “After Dinner Mints for Breakfast”. With over 160 recipes for all family occasions, it’s the perfect stocking filler for the family foodie. Even better is the fact it’s a gift that gives twice too, with 100 per cent of profits going towards the Captain Courageous Foundation for Bone Marrow Failure research.
Volunteers from the family and friends of the Captain Courageous Foundation, along with the support of a few seasoned professionals, compiled together an array of hearty and wholesome solutions for every family occasion. Dinner parties, lazy Sundays and last minute play-dates are all covered in this tome, with tasty suggestions of main meals, quick fix snacks and decadent deserts aplenty.
Maggie Beer herself is a patron to the Captain Courageous Foundation and has contributed some of her best work to the cookbook. “This collection of recipes has been gathered with love from people far and wide who share a burning desire to support children in real need through the Captain Courageous Foundation,” she says. The Foundation aims to help find a cure for children suffering from the life threatening disease, and with 300 children born each year with the debilitating condition, it is in desperate demand for more research.
