  • UP DOWN
    Boundary Rooftop

With a panoramic view of London city, the Boundary Rooftop bar is a breathtaking experience. While the designer-inspired rooms in the boutique hotel downstairs may blow the budget, you can grab a chilled glass of Inzolia (£5) and a spot on the roof for almost nothing.
  • UP DOWN
    Church Street Hotel

You will love the vibrant Mexican interiors of this charming South London boutique hotel, located in the eclectic Camberwell Green.
A double room with en-suite (£130) also includes a scrumptious organic breakfast bought from the local Borough Markets and free Wifi.
  • UP DOWN
    Borough Markets

You could spend hours wandering the stalls of London’s oldest and most renowned (read: scrumptious) food market. From local cheese makers to apple farmers and artisian bread bakers, this independant foodie hub has over 100 stalls to choose from - and every one lets you have a taste test.
  • UP DOWN
    Pizza East

Pizza joints are a dime a dozen, but this industrial-style eatery makes the humble Italian staple seriously chic. Known for their impeccable bases (courtesy of a huge wood fired oven), try the San Daniele prosciutto, tomato, ricotta and pesto (£13). Bellissimo!
  • UP DOWN
    The Hackney Pearl

You'll instantly feel like a local in this self-described "gran's kitchen meets continental bar" in London's Hackney Wick. Producing simple yet thoughtful food with a huge dose of smiling hospitality, you can't go past the pan fried polenta with pepernato and parmesan (£12) from this hip little spot.
  • UP DOWN
    Gelupo

The closest thing to heaven in a double scoop, this artisan gelato bar is a super-chic way indulge your sweet tooth. But watch out; these frozen fancies in crazy flavours like avocado and honey, or simple pistachio (£3) are seriously addictive.
  • UP DOWN
    The Shop

What's better than a funky drink spot you can shop? This retro bar-cum-retailer is all about fabulous vintage finds and even better cocktails. Everything on display up for sale, so grab an aptly-named Shop Assistant (agave tequila, fresh lime, honey and raspberries at £6.50) and peruse the goods.
  • UP DOWN
    Vinoteca

If vino is your tipple of choice, then you can’t go past this jostling little bar. The European-inspired establishment in Farringdon (with sister bars in Soho and Marlyebone) offers close to 300 wines by the bottle, and a generous list by the glass from £3.90. Plus, it's the perfect place to people watch.
  • UP DOWN
    Julie's Restaurant and Champagne Bar

This iconic restaurant is a London must-try, if not for the fabulous food then just to spot a few celebrity diners. The original 1960s rock and roll interiors still remain, and the menu is suprisingly inexpensive. Enjoy a glass of bubbles (£10) and the lobster risotto (£14) while you keep a look out for Hollywood's finest.
  • UP DOWN
    The Hoxton Hotel

This award-winning hotel is seriously sleek. With polished concrete floors, exposed-brick walls and Pop art features - it’s an urban oasis at very little cost. A standard double room (£169) is clean, stylish and even comes with complimentary C O Bigelow shampoo!
