style news: Portmans collaborates with fashion blogger The Glamourai

Meet Kelly Framel - the New York City resident who has carved out a niche for herself in the fashion industry with her blog The Glamourai.

Framel is a jewellery designer, a stylist and fashion icon to the countless women who visit her site daily (which averages 1.2 million page views per month). Her modus operandi? Mixing luxury items with high street brands; an innate abilty to mix clashing prints and a love of opulent, layered jewellery.

Framel's inspiring style has opened doors within the fashion industry - she's designed a bag with Coach, collaborated with Dior, and now, she's lending her talents to a company closer to home. Portmans - who recently shot a campaign with top model Abbey Lee Kershaw - have tapped Framel to both style and model their June campaign.

"I think Portmans does an outstanding job of making clothes that are versatile, affordable and still completely desirable," said Framel. "They're trendy, but won't quickly look dated and everything is made to mix and match, so a few pieces per season can easily revitalise one's wardrobe."
