The L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival may be over, but don’t fret – Rosemount Australian Fashion Week is only a few short months away. Considered to be the most important fashion event in Australia, this year’s RAFW promises a stunning array of designers, exclusive events and an excess of glamour.
Although the official program has yet be launched, RAFW tweeted the following tasty snippet of news this morning: “It is confirmed that Susie of Style Bubble and Tommy of Jak&Jil Blogs are both registered to attend RAFW. Going to be blogging crazy!”
Not familiar with Susanna Lau and Tommy Ton? Susie’s Style Bubble is one of the longest running and well respected fashion blogs out there. Smart, articulate and easy to relate to, Susie is one of fashion’s true devotees – a visit to Style Bubble could turn up a gallery of incredible clothes from a designer you haven’t even heard of yet, an inspiring DIY fashion project or photos of one of Susie’s show stopping and decidedly quirky outfits.
Tommy Ton is an incredible photographer who's built himself an impressive online portfile at Jak&Jil. His subjects? The fashion industry’s insiders – editors, stylists, buyers and models, who he snaps in or around fashion shows. Tommy’s blog offers daily eye-candy for the fashion-obsessed, from the inner sanctum of New York fashion week to the streets of Paris.
We can’t wait to see who else will turn up at fashion week. Keep your eyes peeled on the madison site for more updates.
