This season is definitely all about making a BIG statement with jewellery.
Jewellery trends come and go but they tend to hang around longer than hemlines!
The latest which hasn’t been seen for a long time, but is popping up everywhere, is rose gold.
And when I say everywhere, I really mean everywhere! All the brands of all price ranges from
Cartier and
Bulgari to
Mimco and
Guess!
Rose gold is also big with watches also from
Cartier and
TW Steele and many more…
This trend is gorgeous, but I’m not sure it’ll last.
After years of silver,
yellow gold has made its big return. This metal is a classic and this trend will be hanging around.
Statement pieces
come from expensive precious jewellery, high end fashion brands and more affordable costume jewellery from the high street.
Some of my favourites come from
YSL and
House of Baulch.
Saba,
Diva,
Lovisa all make great
on trend gold pieces that are incredibly affordable.
A current trend which I personally adore for making a very fashionable statement are Bakelite or colourful plastic pieces. This trend comes and goes, but it always comes back around if you hang on to it for a while. Or you can make it your personal style if you like bold colour.
Lanvin mixes colour with gold so well,
Louis Vuitton are doing amazing bangles and I can’t end here without mentioning
House of Baulch again for their spectacular pieces that mix the most divine colour combinations and graphic shapes. A bold and beautiful statement!
