Who: Jessica Alba
Where: attending a March 14 dinner to celebrate Brad Goreski's book launch in West Hollywood
Fashion office coordinator Rebecca Rac says: I think this look is very cute. I really love the contrasting block colours and the relaxed fitting leather jacket. It’s a winning combination for me.
Fashion editor Irene Tsolakas says: Chic. I love the colour blocked combination of red and blue with the yellow bag. I also love the two-tone point she's wearing. She's very on trend. I just wish she hadn’t put on that leather jacket.
These up-to-date choices have given Jessica a cool edge while the red lipstick and tussled hair is perfect.
Chic or bleak: Edgy Chic

Who: Tara Reid
Where: 'American Reunion' Los Angeles Premiere on March 19
Fashion office coordinator Rebecca Rac says: Bleak. Ummmmm….it doesn’t do anything for me, what I mean is it's neither hit nor miss. She's opted for a safe look - all white, clean lines. But it’s a little lack lustre for me personally.
I like people being a little adventurous in their outfit choices.
Fashion editor Irene Tsolakas says: I am a little on the fence with this one. I'm not a fan of Tara Reid and while she's normally quite trashy, this outfit makes her look quite chic. The clean white lines, up 'do and minimal use of accessories and makeup gives her a fresh, modern look. The shoe is what throws it off a little. I like that it’s nude but don’t love the platform. If I had to swing one way I would say chic because it’s a big change from the Tara we normally see, however it’s not my favourite look.
Chic or bleak: Chicishly bleak - a bit plain, but points for most improved
