Beauty blog: Lashings of lashes

One of the greatest inventions know to womankind has to be lash extensions. I remember the first time I rocked them out: I was at a product showing with all the beauty gals and one kind soul asked me if I had had a face lift. My response was, “No do I need one?”

I then realised that the only thing that was different was the fact that that very morning I had had mink lash extensions applied by the lovely Ginny at Love Those Lashes. Seriously, this is a beauty revelation. A number of my colleagues are converts. The little beauties curl voluptuously all on their own and avert the need for pretty much any eye adornment.

Every two weeks I go for “infills” to beef up the lashes that have been lost due to natural attrition. There is a sneaking fear that natural lashes will be so traumatised by the constant application of extensions that they will be permanently stunted, but I have had periodical breaks and the natural lashes soon spring back especially with beauty’s little helpers like Talika Lipocils Expert Eyelash Gel.
