tips + tricks: glow & tell

Get smart: mimic the effects of the sun without the damage.

Australia may be blessed with (almost) year-round sunshine, but we know better than to bake ourselves in said rays. Instead, Aussie girls fake that burnished glow with bronzer, that how-did-we-ever-live-without-it staple that has earned a place in every woman’s make-up bag. Sweep it over the highest points of the face where the sun would naturally fall – the forehead, cheekbones, bridge of the nose and chin – and don’t forget: a bronzer should be used as a highlighter, not an all-over solution (use a tinted moisturiser or liquid bronzer for that), so brush lightly.

TIP: for subtle, smoky eyes, sweep gold eyeshadow and bronzer across lids.
