Loose pigment, compact colour or Cream finish  –  we’ve tracked down the season’s best blush sets.

They say it’s the journey that counts, not the destination. They would be wrong – in this instance, at least. When it comes to blushes, there are many roads you can travel down: pressed powder is a great, foolproof formula for all skin types; cream formulations deliver a dewy finish, ideal for dry skin; and the pigment in loose powder packs a stronger, longer-lasting punch. But let’s face it, all that really matters is that you’re left with a rosy glow.

TIP: Apply to the apple of the cheeks and then blend to your hairline.
