It’s the middle of autumn and the best pick-me-up invite arrives for a
St Tropez fake tan with none-other than the tanning queen herself, Abbi Hollins. Abbi has wielded her spray gun on Kelly Osbourne and Louise Roe as well as UK ‘it’ girls Abbey Clancy and Kelly Brooke. She is relocating to Australia to work her magic and she says, “I can’t wait to build a team, provide VIP treatments and create flawless looking skin without going in the sun!” You said it sister.
Invariably I turn up for tans wearing highly inappropriate clothing (think skin tight white jeans) so imagine my joy when I found out the
St Tropez peeps have thought of everything and provided us with the perfect post-tan outfit: a black shirt dress called
Tanfan, $59.95, that comes in a handy little pouch. It has long, adjustable sleeves and a high-collared neckline. You can even wear it to bed to spare the bed sheets while the breast pockets can disguise your lack of a bra. Perfection.
So I go for the
Luxe Tan (of course) which was inspired by Chloe Sevigny and showcased at the Erdem Spring/Summer collection at London Fashion Week. We went two layers with St Tropez
Self Tan Mist and topped it off with
Gold Illuminator. There is nothing like an artfully applied fake tan to make you feel a million bucks.
Thank you
St Tropez.
